Data Retention Policy
Last updated: 14 July 2026
This policy explains how long Fidus360 keeps different types of data and what happens when data or an account is deleted. Specific periods below are indicative and may be updated.
1. Retention principle
We keep data only for as long as it is needed to provide the services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we take steps to delete or anonymise it.
2. Account & business data
Your account and business data are retained while your account is active so you can continue using the services. If your account is closed, we begin the process of removing your data subject to the exceptions below.
3. Billing & tax records
Billing, invoice, and payment records are retained for the period required under applicable tax, accounting, and company law, even after an account is closed.
4. Deleted workspace / app data & backups
5. Logs & audit data
Technical logs and audit records are retained for a limited period to support security, troubleshooting, and accountability, after which they are rotated out.
6. Customer deletion requests
You may request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements. We will action verified requests within a reasonable time and confirm once complete. See your rights under our Privacy Policy.
7. Legal retention obligations
In some cases we are required to retain certain data to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting obligations. In those cases we retain only what is necessary for as long as the obligation applies.
